Benefits

Why runyour own store?

  • Full control

You sell without marketplace commissions. You control pricing, promotions, the offer, and the margin. Your customer base — not someone else’s.

  • Room to expand

Nationwide or international reach, support for multiple languages and currencies, online sales tied to your physical store — with no scaling limits.

  • Higher margin and profit

You cut out the middlemen and can introduce your own high-value products. Automating processes also means lower operating costs.

  • Loyal customers

You build a purchase flow that converts and supports upselling. You hold your customers’ emails and phone numbers, so you can run newsletters and remarketing instead of one-off transactions.

  • Brand building

You build your own visual identity and message instead of being “just another store on a marketplace” — earning trust, loyalty, and referrals.

Diagnosis

Symptoms

The store runs, the cart doesn’t close

Traffic comes in, products land in the cart, and orders fall short of what the numbers suggest they should be. The cause is usually several things at once: a missing payment method customers expect, shipping cost revealed only at the last step, forced account creation, slow loading on mobile.

  1. 01High cart abandonment at the shipping or payment step
  2. 02No deferred payments or local instant-payment options where customers expect them
  3. 03Stock levels drift out of sync between the store and the warehouse
  4. 04Every order requires a sales document to be issued by hand
  5. 05The mobile version runs slower than competitors even though it looks similar

FAQ

Questions wehear most often

Shoper or Shopify?

Shoper is usually more convenient for selling within Poland — integrations with Polish payment providers, couriers, and accounting work out of the box. Shopify wins for international sales and multiple language versions. We’re partners with both, so we have no stake in pushing you either way.

What about WooCommerce?

WooCommerce makes sense when full control and no subscription fee matter to you — you only pay for the domain, hosting, and any paid plugins. In return you get an open API for integrating with ERP systems or wholesalers, and full control over the code, SEO, and UX. That freedom comes at the cost of more responsibility on your side, so we check together whether you have the resources to carry it.

Will migration cost us our Google rankings?

Not if it’s done correctly. The key is 301 redirects from every old product and category URL. It’s the step most commonly skipped when switching platforms — for us it’s a dedicated sign-off point before launch.

What does it cost to run the store after launch?

The platform subscription, hosting for WooCommerce, payment processing fees, and any paid integrations. We lay out these costs during platform selection, so there are no surprises in year two.

Do you implement deferred payments?

Yes, we’re technically set up for it. It’s worth calculating first whether the fee pays for itself given your margin and average order value — we help work that out before implementation.
