What the converter does

Why WebP beats JPG and PNG
WebP is a Google format that combines lossy and lossless compression, transparency and animation in a single file. Converting an image to WebP usually reduces the file size by 25% to 34% compared with JPEG and by up to 26% compared with PNG at the same image quality. Lower weight means faster loading, better Core Web Vitals and less hosting transfer.
Current browsers support and display WebP without any problems. The format is widely supported by most CMS systems and e-commerce platforms.
